Weather in San Jaime - Enjoys ideal climate on 'healthy' Costa Blanca
San Jaime is a small development on the outskirts of Moraira on Spain's Costa Blanca, which enjoys a subtropical Mediterranean climate. The region attracts those in search of a quiet beach holiday, and with over 325 days of sunshine and an average temperature of almost 20C, San Jaime is the perfect spot for a relaxing summer break. Like the rest of the Costa Blanca, the region is considered to be one of the healthiest places to live, with an ideal climate for healing various ailments such as arthritis.

San Jaime Weather- Hot summers, cooling winds, warm seas
Summers in San Jaime see average temperatures of between 24C and 27C, which can sometimes soar into the mid 30's or even 40C. July and August see consistently high temperatures of 26C and 27C, with little or no rainfall, and up to 12 hours of sunshine each day. The heat is tempered by cooling winds that blow during the summer, and the Blue Flag beaches are the best place to be on a hot day, with water temperatures in San Jaime reaching 24C and 25C in July and August. Visitors are advised to stay indoors, or in the shade, when the sun is at its hottest in the afternoons, however. Early or late in the season is a good time to visit San Jaime, with May and June seeing pleasant highs of 20C-23C and   temperatures in September and October reaching 21C- 24C, with the sea temperature being anywhere from 17C-21C, and the region still seeing 7-10 hours of sunshine each day.

Winters in San Jaime are very mild, with the region protected from the cold north winds by the mountains. The winter months still boast a minimum of 6 hours of sunlight each day, and a low temperature of 11C in January, the coldest month. In November, San Jaime and the Moraira area can sometimes experience a drop in temperature and huge storms resulting in flooding - known as 'gota fria'.
