San Jaime Things To Do

Beach
San Jaime is located on the outskirts of Moraira, home to one of the largest and nicest beaches in the area, with great views and convenient facilities. The beach is family-friendly, with soft golden sand and a children's play area.

Water Sports
Active guests can indulge in various water sports, including jet-skiing, waterskiing, windsurfing and sailing. Along the rocky coastline there are some hidden bays and coves ideal for snorkelling, and scuba diving is also available around the resort.

Golf
The Costa Blanca is a popular destination for avid golfers, and San Jaime is an excellent choice with three courses less than 20 minutes away, including the 9-hole Ifach Golf Club located in the resort.

Sports
The area is mainly home to private villas and apartments, with guests making use of facilities such as swimming pools, tennis courts, horse riding, paragliding and fishing.

Walking and Hiking
Head inland to discover the charm of the Spanish countryside, lush with olive groves and orange trees, and full of varied routes for experienced ramblers and hikers, as well as casual short walks. The views along the coastline are also stunning, and there are plenty of cliff-top routes to follow around the area.

Horse Riding and Biking
Escape from the heat and cycle off far into the mountains to follow the many trails through the forests, and discover sleepy hidden towns nestling amongst the countryside. Venture off on horseback into the olive groves and orchards, and past farmlands, lakes and rivers, or take a leisurely pony trek along the coastal paths.

Town
The daily fish market at Moraira is first-class and well-worth a visit, and San Jaime is home to an excellent supermarket with fantastic fresh local produce. As well as the bustling marina which is generally lined with luxury yachts as well as Spanish fishing boats, there is a good choice of local bars and restaurants for a leisurely drink or meal, and a children's fun fair in the town.

Days Out
Take a rental car and head out to the beautiful Jalon Valley for a scenic drive through the vineyards, which produce the area's highly-regarded wine, and some stunning mountain views, or visit the town of Denia to see the town's castle, do some shopping or catch a ferry across to Ibiza. For family fun, head north for the theme parks, Terra Mitica, Mundo Mar and Aqualandia - all less than an hour's drive in Benidorm.
