Weather in Rovinj - Hot summers and mild winters
Beach resorts on the Adriatic coast are becoming increasingly popular thanks to the short flight time from Britain and the high summer temperatures. If you want to bask in 10 hours of sunshine per day then the weather in Rovinj during the summer months will not let you down. The summer season lasts for the seven months from April to October, and the temperatures in Rovinj will head well over 20C during this time of year. From June until September expect the heat to head over 25C and the sun to be shining for over 10 hours per day. The winters are mild, and temperatures in December and January frequently hit a high of 14C.

The climate in Rovinj and nearby coastal resorts of Rabac, Porec and Umag is typically Mediterranean with the Istria region benefiting from over 2400 hours of sunshine per year. July and August are the hottest months of the year with temperatures regularly hitting 30C. The sun shines down on the resorts for around 10 to 12 hours per day, and light sea breezes drift in to take the edge from the heat. The sea temperatures during the summer months are perfect for numerous water sports such as diving, snorkelling and swimming.

Weather in Rovinj - An all year round destination
Due to the proximity to Italy and the Mediterranean climate, the weather in Rovinj is very mild during the winter months. Temperatures from November to February will usually be around 10C with a maximum of 17C in November. You will still receive around five hours of sunshine per day and rainfall will be light and short lived. By March the temperature will be heading towards 15C and over, making a holiday in Rovinj perfect for an Easter break.
