Swimming Pool
The Caribbean sunshine sparkles through the water as you ply up and down the huge, free-form pool. Catch your breath over an ice cold beer at the swim-up bar then lower yourself gently down onto a sunbed on the terrace or in the gardens.

Wining and Dining
There are three different bars where you can meet your friends for a cocktail. Move on to the beachside restaurant and watch the sun go down over a delicious dinner. For variety, there's also an air-conditioned restaurant with no smoking section, themed buffet evenings and two speciality restaurants - Mediterranean and Grill Steak (reservations required). Gentlemen are reminded that long trousers must be worn to dinner.

Entertainment
You'll soon make new friends at this hotel as there's such a varied daytime entertainment programme. If you've spent today snoozing beside by the pool, tonight is the time to move that body: tap your feet to live music (several nights a week), try some Latin-American moves in La Pinata disco (across the street in Riu Tequila, the sister hotel) or swing your hips in the hotel disco (6 nights a week).

For Families
There's a warm welcome waiting for young ones who have their own section of the swimming pool plus hotel-run kids' miniclub and playground. Four to 14-year-olds will get plenty of fresh air and exercise as they try out the varied, daytime, activity programme. There's even a weekly children's show to keep them entertained.

Work up a healthy sweat on one of 3 tennis courts (floodlights available) or stretch out those muscles in the gym. The whole family will enjoy a game of table tennis and golfers will be delighted to discover an 18-hole course nearby (payable in resort). After all that exhilarating exercise, unwind in the soothing bubbles of a whirlpool bath.
