Ravda Weather

The beach resort of Ravda lies on the Black Sea coast in Bulgaria, just 4km from Sunny Beach and 15km from Bourgas. The holiday season starts in May and runs till October, and the region enjoy an average summer temperature of 22C.

 

Spring sees warm weather in Ravda, and early in the season would be an ideal time for walking and sightseeing. May sees an average temperature of 17C, and 8 hours of sunshine, however the month can be quite rainy, seeing an average of 10 wet days. June is warmer, with an average temperature of 21C, 9 hours of sun and 9 rainy days in the month, whilst average temperatures in July and August hover around 25C, sometimes reaching a maximum of 30C. During the peak season months, the weather is dry, with only 4 days of rain per month, and the sun shines for up to 11 hours each day. Ravda sees pleasant water temperatures of between 20C - 26C during the summer months, making the warm waters of the Black Sea inviting for swimming and water sports.

 

October sees temperatures drop to an average of 16C, and the sun shines for 6 hours each day. Winters can be cold in Ravda, with temperatures dropping to 9C in November, and January seeing average temperatures of 3C, with lows of -3C sometimes experienced. The period from November to January is the wettest, seeing 10 days of rain each month, and there is limited sunshine - a maximum of 2 hours each day.
