The beach at Quinta do Lago is reached by crossing a long bridge over an estuary in the Ria Formosa Nature Park, and the lovely golden sands stretch along the coast to Vale do Lobo. The sandstone cliffs provide a beautiful backdrop to the wonderful sandy beach, which is excellent for both relaxing sunbathing and enjoying energetic family games. A convenient bar/restaurant serves up refreshments and meals, including freshly caught fish, right on the beach. Boat trips are available from the beach at Quinta do Lago, and its’ possible to charter a yacht, or venture out on a deep–sea fishing trip.
