Our review of Pula...
The largest city in Istria, Pula is a major commercial centre, with a strong cultural and historical heritage and a thriving tourist industry. Ideally located along the Adriatic, Croatia holidays in Pula boast a massive 100km of beautiful Croatian coastline, dotted with rocky beaches and secluded coves, and is home to a huge natural harbour, the largest in the region. As well as its scenic beauty, Pula is packed with Roman ruins, and the city and its surrounding areas offer plenty for the holidaymaker to see and do, including the landmark of the city, the enormous and very impressive amphitheatre.

"Do take a boat trip to the Brijuni Islands, which I would highly recommend as they make a great day trip. Really beautiful place with an array of wonderful plant and animal life, including Titos' collection of safari animals."

"Liked our few days in Pula a lot. We stayed in a hotel in the city, and found the place had a charming and unique atmsophere. Locals in Pula were really friendly and informative. Found a couple of very nice restaurants, and took a bus (very easy to do) to explore the coastline - we liked the Verudela peninsula."
