Puerto Santiago Weather

If you are looking for a holiday destination where the sun shines down all year round, then Puerto Santiago is hard to beat. Boasting 50 weeks of sunshine per year and well known for its stable climate, the weather in Puerto Santiago is a sun lover’s paradise. The hottest summer months from June to September can see temperatures regularly heading over the 30C mark and the sun will be out for 11 hours per day. Even the winter months are blessed with a temperature that usually hovers around 20C. With very little rain, the stable climate here makes for an excellent holiday destination any time of the year.

 

Whether you are relaxing on the beaches or playing a round of golf, the weather in Puerto Santiago will never disappoint.  The climate in Puerto Santiago is mild all year round but higher temperatures can be found from July to September. From May to October the temperature will usually stay above 25C, but cool sea breezes will drift in to take the edge from the heat. As you would expect, the beaches here and at nearby Los Gigantes and Playa la Arena have become a haven for sun worshippers. In the evening, the warm 20C temperature means that you should never need more than light clothing for strolls around town and dancing in the open air bars.

There is no rainy season but occasional short lived showers may occur between November and March. When the winter chill hits the UK the temperature in Puerto Santiago will still hover over the 20C mark; more than enough to pick up a golden winter tan.
