Puerto Naos Weather – An Island with beautiful weather
La Palma is often known as Isla Bonita meaning the beautiful island, and it is not hard to see why. With spectacular scenery, unspoilt beaches and year round sunshine this Canary Island is close to perfect. Summer temperatures in Puerto Naos can head near the 30C mark during July and August, and the sun will be shining down for around 10 hours per day. Winter temperatures are also high but Puerto Maos does receive a fair amount of rain during this period, mainly from November to January. However, with temperatures at around 23C during December Puerto Naos is a good option as a winter sunshine destination.
Weather in Puerto Naos – The perfect beach weather
Summer sunshine levels in Puerto Naos, La Palma, are high and from May until October holiday makers can expect around 10 hours per day. Temperatures will head over the 25C mark from late May until the end of November. July to September is the peak season with high 30C temperatures. Evening temperatures are also warm and will only drop by around 5C so light clothing will be all that is required. Sea temperatures are also high and are usually just over the 20C mark from June through November. Rain averages at around one day per month from June until September and will definitely not dampen the high temperatures at this time of the year.
Puerto Naos Weather – All year round sunshine
A weather phenomenon known as the Calima does occur in Puerto Naos occasionally, usually once or twice per year. Hot, dry desert winds will sweep in from the Sahara and can push temperatures up to around 40C. This will be short lived if it does occur and should not spoil any holiday. On the whole, the weather in Puerto Naos is ideal for those that love sunny weather and swimming in the sea all year round.
