Puerto Naos Things To Do
Beaches
The relaxed atmosphere and unspoilt beaches mean that Puerto Naos has become a draw for the discerning holiday maker. Puerto Naos has a European Blue Flag awarded 500m stretch of sand lined with palm trees and lapped by the warm Atlantic Ocean. The climate in La Palma is perfect for long tranquil days on this unspoilt beach with fewer crowds than you will find on the other Canary Island resorts. The sunsets from the beach will be an unforgettable memory.
Nightlife
The nightlife in Puerto Naos is a laid back affair focussing on the main street restaurants and bars. It can become lively as the evening draws in but this is decidedly low key compared to the vibrant bars and clubs usually associated with the Canary Islands. Puerto Naos is all about taking your time and relaxing in one of the Canary Island’s most scenic beauty spots.
Restaurants
There are plenty of excellent restaurants in Puerto Naos. Dining options range from traditional Canarian, Asian, Indian and international favourites. Dining out is inexpensive and hotels also offer an extensive range of dining options including buffets that change every night. There are also plenty of cafes, bars and taverns for quick dining options throughout the day.
Activities
There are plenty of activities in Puerto Naos for those who prefer an alternative to the beach. Guided walks, bicycling tours, horse riding, and boat trips from the harbour are all readily available. Take a trip to Los Llanos, the largest and busiest town on La Palma where the traffic free centre holds a wealth of shopping and dining options.
Scuba Diving
Puerto Naos has an excellent climate that allows for scuba diving all year round. Water clarity is excellent and the underwater volcanic formations are amazing with chimneys, caves, tunnels and canyons. Night dives are recommended and make for an unforgettable experience.
