Primorsko Weather

The sunny beach resort of Primorsko is located within Bulgaria’s southern resorts and benefits from higher temperatures than those found in the north. Temperatures in Primorsko during the peak summer months can reach over the 30C mark and this area has a climate very similar to that found in Mediterranean resorts. Primorsko is very much a summer holiday destination that begins in May and stretches through to October. The average temperature during the summer months in Primorsko is 26C so holiday makers are guaranteed bright sunny days and high temperatures. The sun will be shining down on the beaches in Primorsko for an average of 10 hours per day during the summer.

 

Primorsko boasts some of the best Blue Flag awarded beaches in Bulgaria and the hot climate is the perfect compliment. Primorsko boasts an impressive 2500 hours of sunshine per year, and from May until the end of October the temperature will not usually dip below the 20C mark. Swimming in the Black Sea is a pleasure as the sea temperatures are only a few degrees lower than air temperatures. June through September is considered the ideal sunshine period in Primorsko with temperatures heading over 26C and up and over the 30C mark. Evenings will be slightly cooler but still warm and pleasant.

For holiday makers who prefer slightly cooler temperatures then May and October will be ideal. Temperatures during these months are still warm at around 20C and the sun will be shining down for around eight hours per day. This is the perfect time to explore the little villages and resorts in the Primorsko area. There may be a chance of rain at this time of the year but it will be short lived and will not spoil any holiday in Primorsko.
