Holidays in Potos offer a small pretty resort with a fine mile-long curving beach. Potos beach is one of the longest on the island, with lots of fine sand and plenty of space for everyone. In fact there are two Potos beaches with gently sloping sand and shingle providing ideal safe conditions for children and swimmers. Holidays in Potos have the equally nice tree-shaded beach and tavernas at Pefkari just a short walk away along the seafront. Potos holidays can also include a day on other excellent Thassos beaches at neighbouring resorts. A mile away is the remarkably peaceful and beautiful Rosogremos beach with tree-shaded white sand and wonderfully calm water. Holidays in Potos offer watersports at both Potos beach and Pefkari beach.

Potos holidays retain a good deal of relaxed charm compared to some other Thassos resorts, even in the peak season when the resort is reasonably lively. Potos holidays provide plenty of opportunity for almost complete peace at the various small coves and beaches in the region. Potos holiday nightlife tends to focus on the tavernas and fish restaurants lining the waterfront and gathered around the old harbour. There are a few bars open until late and Limenaria offers a few discos if your holidays in Potos need a big night out! For shopping try Limenaria, the second biggest town on Thassos, which is just 3 miles along the coast and easily reached by bus or taxi. Holidays in Potos are not complete without a visit to Theologos the wonderful medieval village and one-time capital of Thassos. Theologos is a very appealing mix of medieval buildings, ancient monuments, fine churches and characterful local tavernas offering local specialities and occasional entertainment. Theologos makes a nice change from the Potos holiday beach scene and is just inland from Potos beach.
