Beach
The sheltered beach at Porto Pollo is the focus of the resort, with gently shelving golden sands and shallow warm waters, ideal for both sunbathing and swimming. There is a marina here and a small selection of bars and restaurants. Pedalos can be rented for leisurely rides along the coastline.
 
Water Sports
Porto Pollo's protected bay and calm seas present great conditions for wind surfing, and a number of schools are located on the beach offering tuition and equipment hire. Kite surfing, water skiing and jet skiing are also available.
 
Scuba Diving
The clear waters and rocky coastline make Porto Pollo a popular site for scuba divers, and a choice of dive schools offer trips out to the off-shore coral reef. There's also excellent snorkelling here.
 
Boat Trips
The coastline of Corsica is best experienced from the sea, and the marina here offers many boat trips and cruises, with visitors heading to one of the secluded coves nearby for quiet sunbathing, or to the port at Ajaccio. Catamaran cruises are available, as is sailboat rental.  
 
Walking & Hiking
Corsica is a haven for walkers and hikers, thanks to its impressive array of landscapes and scenery. It's a great way to discover the hidden beauty of the island, from its lush interior of dense forests, olive groves and vineyards, to the rocky coastline offering breathtaking views out across the Mediterranean.
 
Biking & Horse Riding
Porto Pollo's footpaths and trails can also be explored by bike or on horseback, with mountain bikes available to rent and local stables in the area offering riding excursions. There are many tracks to follow, leading through the verdant green countryside or running along the scenic coastline.      
 
Bird Watching
Nature lovers will delight in the glorious Corsican countryside, with the island home to a variety of scenery and wildlife, and number of nature reserves and wetlands. Corsica is especially popular with bird watchers, as it boasts a wide range of endemic species. 
 
Day Trips
Trips out include the lively harbour town of Propriano, the vibrant capital, Ajaccio, and the historic hilltop town of Sartene. A visit to the archaeological site at Filitosa is a must, to see the famous Neolithic megaliths and statues which sit amongst the rolling countryside.
