Car and bike hire is available to enable you to discover the beautiful surrounding area, and there are tennis courts in Kranidi, just 5 km away.
It’s pleasant to stroll along the south stretch of Porto Heli bay and explore the ruins of ancient Halieis, which was a prosperous Greek city here 2,500 years ago. You can make out parts of the baths, an olive press and outer walls of dwellings, close to the water‘s edge. Beaches at nearby Ververoda, Maistraki and Hinitsa are good for swimming and snorkelling.
