The weather in Ponta Negra is excellent all year round. Temperatures will usually hover around the 30C to 32C mark and will never usually dip lower than 25C. The temperature is quite stable all year round and there will only be a few degrees difference between winter and summer temperatures. Brazil does have a rainy season and in Ponta Negra it will usually start in late April or early May and last for three months. When rain does occur during this time of the year it will usually come in the form of short-lived showers and will not spoil any holiday activities.

The dry season will usually not receive any rain at all for months on end and the sun will be shining down for around eight hours per day. This is one of the sunniest all year round beach holiday destinations and will not be a disappointment if you are looking for fabulous weather.

Although the weather in Ponta Negra is quite stable all year round the summer months last from December to March and the winter season is from June until September. This means that if you take a holiday to Ponta Negra during the British winter you will be there during the Brazilian summer. This is a very popular time of the year, and with temperatures heading to the 30C mark you will be guaranteed constant sunshine in this beautiful beach resort.
