Holidays in Polichrono offer a mix of lazy beach days, calm taverna-based evenings, a few excursions to nearby Kassandra Peninsula beaches and perhaps a trip to Thessalonica or an excursion to atmospheric Halkidiki mountain villages. The beach at Polichrono offers excellent safe clear water for children and swimmers and plenty of space for sunbathing. Polichrono beach is a mile-long stretch of pale sand and fine shingle. Polichrono holidays tend to focus on the quiet waterfront promenade and a pleasant and reasonably plentiful selection of cafes, bars and tavernas given the small size of the resort. Wild nightlife is certainly not on offer during holidays in Polichrono, though the resort does have a few music bars and at least one disco and can be reasonably animated in season. Polichrono holiday nights are more likely spent relaxing over a romantic meal.
