Playacar Weather

Mexico is famous for its beautiful white beaches and spectacularly sunny skies and a holiday in Playacar will provide both. With a year round average temperature of 30C you can be guaranteed hot sunny weather in Playacar whenever you choose to visit. A holiday in Playacar anytime between May and November will provide temperatures of 30C and over. For the rest of the year the temperatures are only slightly lower at around 28C. There is a hurricane season and this will last from August through October when the weather may be unpredictable. The rainy season in Playacar is between May and mid October but the short-lived showers will not dampen the high temperatures.

 

High season in Playacar lasts from November through February and it will be hot at this time of the year. Temperatures will be around the 30C mark making the beaches of Playacar and nearby Playa Del Carmen the ideal place to spend the day. The crystal clear warm waters are perfect for swimming, snorkelling and diving. April to September will be the hottest time of the year with temperatures in Playacar heading towards the 34C mark. This may seem hot but the humidity is relatively low although the weather will slightly less predictable.

 

The high season lasts from November through February so Christmas and New Year holidays in Playacar are very popular. Lying on the sun-drenched beaches, playing a round of golf or swimming with the dolphins on Christmas Day are opportunities not to be missed. The temperatures at this time of the year are more comfortable when compared to the hottest season. This is the perfect time of the year to sample all of the holiday delights that Playacar has to offer.
