Playa de los Pocillos Weather

If you are looking for high summer temperatures and sunny blue skies day after day then you will not be disappointed by the weather in Playa de los Pocillos. Lanzarote is one of the most popular sunshine destinations for British holiday makers and with fantastic weather and beaches it’s not hard to see why. The summer season lasts from May until October, and the high season months will see temperatures hovering around 29C. Even the winter months in Playa de los Pocillos will provide more than enough sunshine to pick up a golden tan to return home with.

The sun will be shining down on the beaches and resorts for around nine hours per day during the summer and the beaches at Matagorda and Puerto del Carmen will always be busy. Sea temperatures will stay around the 22C mark, which makes the warm water perfect for swimming, snorkelling and diving. Due to the close proximity to Africa the temperature can rise higher when winds blow in from the Sahara. A holiday in the spring and autumn months may be preferable for those who like slightly cooler temperatures of around 23C.

 

The 21C winter temperatures in Play de los Pocillos are perfect if you wish to relax on the beach during the festive period. The sun will be shining down for around six hours a day and the skies will still be clear and sunny while the UK feels the winter chill. There may be some rainfall during the winter months but it will be short lived and then the sun will appear again.
