Playa Paraiso (Mexico) Weather

Playa Paraiso sits on the Mexican Riviera Maya, just 15 minutes from Playa del Carmen and 30 minutes from the lively base of Cancun. The resort boasts idyllic white sands, palm trees and calm Caribbean waters, and its semi tropical climate and guaranteed sunshine make it a favourite with those looking for a peaceful and upscale beach resort. The best time to travel to Playa Paraiso is during the British winter, with the best conditions seen from November to February.  

 

November sees the start of the holiday season in Playa Paraiso, with high temperatures of 29C and 6 - 7 hours of sunshine each day up until February. Winters are fairly dry, with November and January receiving around 100mm of rain each month, mainly in the form of short showers. Water temperatures reach 26C - 27C during the winter in Playa Paraiso, with conditions ideal for water sports. February sees higher temperatures of up to 31C, with the spring months experiencing rising temperatures and increased humidity levels.     

 

April to October in Playa Paraiso sees very hot humid conditions, with highs of 33C and between 6 - 8 hours of sunshine each day, as well as an increased chance of rain each month. May brings wetter weather, with 109mm falling during the month, and June experiencing 189mm of rain. This amount remains consistent during the summer, with September and October seeing the wettest conditions, when over 200mm of rain falls both months.
