Beaches
The beaches at Playa Jandia are some of the best on Fuerteventura and boast miles of golden sand with plenty of water sports facilities. The local beach is one of the longest in Fuerteventura and even has its own naturist section. With over 125 miles of beaches on the island you will have no problem finding your own stretch of secluded sand.
Nightlife
Playa Jandia is low key when it comes to its nightlife although it does boast a good selection of bars and music pubs. Nightlife in Playa Jandia centres on socialising over a leisurely meal before heading to the bustling bars and cafes along the beach front area.
Restaurants
Enjoying some excellent food is all part of the holiday experience and there is no shortage of great cafes and restaurants in Playa Jandia. If you love Italian and German food you will not be disappointed. There are also plenty of traditional tapas bars and a great selection of restaurants and bars serving British favourites including Sunday roasts.
Sightseeing
If you fancy stretching your legs then take a leisurely stroll to the top of the 807 metres Pico de Zarza, which is the highest point on the island and boasts some spectacular views. Jandia National Park is also well worth exploring especially if you want to take advantage of over 2,600 hectares of golden beaches. Exploring the island by jeep is a popular option and will give you the chance to view many of the traditional villages.
Water Sports
There is no shortage of water sports in Playa Jandia as you would expect from an island with a fantastic climate. Try your hand at wind-surfing, jet-skiing and kite-surfing. Scuba-diving is also a popular pastime in Playa Jandia and there are dive centres where professionals can arrange lessons and excursions for beginners and the more experienced divers.
