Playa Fanabe Weather

The climate in Playa Fanabe is a combination of all year round high temperatures, low rainfall, and low humidity levels. Playa Fanabe is an all year round sunshine destination where temperatures do not dip much below 20C at any time of the year. Temperatures can reach 30C during the peak summer months but trade wins will ensure the heat is pleasant and not excessive. Sunshine levels in Playa Fanabe are high all year round with the sun shining down on Tenerife’s southern coast for around 50 weeks per year. Rainfall is very rare during the summer and tends to appear infrequently during the winter months.

 

The beautiful beaches and constant sunshine are two of the major attractions of a holiday here. High temperatures of 30C can be found from June until the end of September, and the ocean temperature at this time of the year will also be around 23C. The beaches at Playa Fanabe and nearby La Caleta and Playa de las Americas will be busy throughout the year with visitors sunbathing and swimming in the warm waters. Rainfall will not disturb any summer holiday and humidity levels are low during the summer and throughout most of the year.

 

Winter breaks in Playa Fanabe are popular especially during the festive season. Light clothing will be all that is required during the winter with the temperature hovering just under or over the 20C mark. By the April Easter holidays the temperature will be around 23C and holiday makers can expect eight hours of sunshine per day. The autumn months are also warm, and October and November will see temperatures of around 25C with seven hours of sunshine per day.
