Beaches
There are a number of beautiful beaches in Playa Blanca to choose from. Playa Blanca beach has been awarded a European Blue Flag for cleanliness and is surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants. You can also choose from nearby Playa Flamingo, Papagayo or Playa Dorado, which literally means the golden beach.
Water Sports
As you would expect from a beach resort water sports enthusiasts are well catered for in Playa Blanca. You can choose from windsurfing, snorkelling, jet and water skiing. Scuba diving is also very popular and exploring the volcanic underwater world is a must. There are numerous wrecks to explore and the marine life is spectacular.
Golf
Golf in Playa Blanca is major attraction. The 18 hole course in nearby Costa Teguise is set within the volcanic hills boasting ocean views. There are also mini golf courses, a putting course and a restaurant situated by the sea front.

There is a great selection of bars and nightclubs in Playa Blanca to suit every taste. Take a cab to nearby bustling Puerto del Carmen for nightclubs that shut when the last person leaves then. Also try the bars on the main promenade in Playa Blanca that become the social focus once the evening draws in.

Head down to the promenade and you will be spoilt for choice with restaurants serving Indian, Italian, Chinese, English and the freshest seafood. You can dine in the evening and watch the lights sparkling in the distance from Fuerteventura.
