Playa Pesquero Weather

Playa Pesquero lies on the eastern coast of Cuba, 11 miles west of Guardalaveca and less than an hour from Holguin airport. This upmarket beach resort sits on the Costa Verde coast, and enjoys a subtropical climate, with very high temperatures all year round. The best time to visit Playa Pesquero is from December to April, when the weather is hot and dry and ideal for a beach holiday. Cuba's rainy season runs from May to October, with the hurricane season in Playa Pesquero occurring between August to October.

Night time temperatures rarely fall below 20C, with conditions ideal for leisurely evening meals and strolls on the beach. May sees the start of the rainy season, with temperatures rising and humidity levels increasing.

 

The beginning of the rainy season can be quite wet, with May receiving 127mm of rain, however October and November are the rainiest months in Playa Pesquero, seeing 165mm - 156mm respectively. Rainfall drops off in December, with the dry season seeing between 38mm - 78mm each month.
