Perivolos holidays - Popular Santorini beach resort
Perivalos is on the south-east coast of Santorini, between the beach resorts of Vlyhada and Perissa and its beach is considered among the most beautiful on Santorini. Perivolos beach is one of several connecting beaches that form an immense impressive stretch of black sand along the south-east coast of the island. Perivalos holiday are very much based around the sandy beach which is well-organised, exceptionally long, and popular with couples and families. While becoming increasingly popular, Perivalos beach still tends to be one of the less crowded of Santorini beaches. Caf‚s and restaurants are dotted alongside the beach. Holidays in Perivalos offer plenty of watersports with snorkelling a particular favourite. You can easily walk or drive to the bigger Perissa beach resort and to Vlyhada beach which is probably the quietest of the three.
Perivolos - A good compromise: not too quiet not too busy
Perivalos holiday nightlife is laid-back but fun and is centred on the beachside area. For something livelier try the neighbouring resort of Perissa. Pay a visit to nearby Finikia, a friendly traditional village with some nice old-fashioned tavernas. Holidays in Perivalos are not complete without visiting other Santorini beauty spots like Oia, a fascinating jumble of narrow streets full of stone steps, terraces, courtyards, leafy squares, blue-domed churches and tastefully restored stone houses or Fira, the unique sparkling white capital in an astonishing cliffside location. Regular buses run from Perivalos to Fira.
