Pastida Things to Do

Pastida is ideally located to take advantage of the most popular beaches in Rhodes. The unspoilt beauty of Kremasti beach on the north coast and the vibrant beach resort of Faliraki on the south-east are both within easy reach of Pastida. Numerous stunning nearby beaches are also available including Ixia, Kalithea and Trianta.

 

Rhodes Town is a mere 10 minutes from Pastida and is without doubt one of the most popular sightseeing trips. This fascinating city boasts traditional markets, first class restaurants, historic ruins, and a wealth of nightlife options. A trip to Lindos should be included to view the Temple of Athena at the Acropolis along with a tour of Butterfly Valley and its famous gorge.

 

The scenic countryside around Pastida is ideal for hiking, cycling and horseback riding. A short trip to Afandou will provide golf enthusiasts with the amazing 18-hole championship golf course, which is open all year round. The beaches at Kremasti and Faliraki will be the place to head for water sports such as jet-skiing, windsurfing, diving and snorkelling.

 

Boat trips are one of the most popular ways to view the Greek Islands. Numerous boat trips from Pastida can be made via the harbour at Rhodes Town. Take the 45 minute hydrofoil trip to sample the delights of Marmaris in Turkey. Boat trips can also include beautiful and historic Lindos and the Greek islands of Kos and Symi. Stop off in Pefkos beach and take to the air with sightseeing flights around Rhodes from Flyers Café.
