Holidays in Parga have long been a favourite of those in the know thanks to its many beaches, easy access to Paxos, and the glorious weather. The climate in Parga is typically Mediterranean with long, hot, dry summers and short, mild winters. You can relax in the sun for around 12 hours a day during the heady summer months and don’t be surprised if the temperature reaches over the 30C mark on a daily basis. From November onward you can expect cooler temperatures of around 17C making it the perfect time to explore the little villages and historic ruins.

Weather in Parga - The perfect beach weather
You are spoilt for choice when it comes to beaches in Parga, and the weather will not disappoint either. Whether you choose the golden sands of Valtos Beach or the fine shingle beach at Lichnos you can expect every day during the summer months to be hot, bright and sunny. From May to October the temperature will not dip below 20C and the hottest months of June, July and August will see the heat head over the 30C mark. The sea is a perfect temperature for swimming, snorkelling or taking part in the many water activities. Evenings will be warm; ideal for relaxing with a cooling drink in the waterfront tavernas.

Parga Weather - Warm weather all year round
The temperatures from December to March will be more comfortable than the heat of the summer months. You can expect around four hours of sunshine per day with temperatures in Parga at around 16C. By April Parga becomes busy with holiday makers enjoying an Easter break; the temperature begins to climb, the coastline is in full bloom, and the sea becomes warm. The climate is perfect for boat trips to the island of Paxos or simply relaxing on the beaches of Parga and feeling the stress drain away.
