Weather in Paphos Paphos is a great all year round holiday destination, the summers are long and hot and the winters are mild. The weather in Paphos is typically Mediterranean and has a strong seasonal rhythm but the warmth and sunshine can be felt all year, especially during the summer months. Many holidaymakers favour visiting Paphos during the spring in order to see the island in full bloom and take advantage of the cooler temperatures to explore the area. Autumn is also a popular time to visit, with hot days and cool nights, and you can still swim in the sea as late as November.

June to August sees Paphos receiving around 12 hours of 31C sunshine, but in July you can expect 13 hours of glorious 32C sunshine per day. The high temperatures make the Paphos beaches perfect for sunbathing, and the sea is warm enough for all day swimming and watersports. In September and October the temperatures are still around the 30C mark and give around nine hours of sunshine per day. Further inland the temperatures will be even higher and have been known to hit around 37C.

December to February sees temperatures of around 18C and you will still gain around five hours of sunshine per day. An April Easter break in Paphos will see you topping up a tan with eight hours of sunshine per day and temperatures hitting 22C. There is very little rainfall in Paphos, usually around 40 days per year between December and February.
