Our Review of Palma...
With so much holiday attention on the Majorca beach resorts Palma remains exceptionally underrated and far too little known. Palma makes an excellent city-break destination and ranks as one of the most enjoyable and attractive cities in Spain. Palma attracts a wonderfully cosmopolitan mix of visitors of all ages but somehow manages to remain authentically Spanish with a real small-city community. Eating out here is tremendous fun, with a spectacular choice of cafes, tapas bars, varied restaurants and stylish gourmet cuisine. Nightlife is equally diverse and enjoyable, and far more genuinely Spanish than the Majorca beaches. The fascinating, atmospheric lanes of the Gothic old town feature a splendid cathedral, imposing palaces, fine museums and excellent galleries. The promenade and swish marina is fantastic people watching territory as Palma is a favourite with Spanish celebrities and the rich and famous. Palma makes an excellent gateway to Majorca beach resorts and is perfectly placed for great excursions into Majorca’s scenic mountains. A highly recommended all-year-round destination.

Customer Reviews of Palma...

I’d recommend Palma for a holiday in Majorca. It’s a really buzzing place with a great atmosphere. The Gothic old town is very atmospheric. Easy to get out to the beaches during the day and much more Spanish at night. It’s a world away from Magalluf and all that. Loved the night time with everyone out in the streets and enjoying themselves.
Miss C Hunt, Newcastle UK

“If you like places like Barcelona and Madrid you should get out to Palma even if its only for a long weekend. Myself and my partner had a great time here in May. The nightlife scene is varied and there’s plenty of trendy relaxed early evening and late night places to chill out.”
Mr P Jackson, Manchester UK

“We loved Palma so much we moved here! Palma is a very stylish place with a true Spanish feeling. Very friendly nightlife scene and the best restaurants in Majorca. Good beaches down the coast. I guarantee you will enjoy a holiday here.”
Mr Burke, Palma Spain.
