Orlando Weather - A fine climate whatever the season
Although land locked, Orlando weather is influenced slightly by the Atlantic, as with the whole of Florida State, which gives it a fine year round climate and abundant sunshine that is very rarely oppressive. Rainfall is relatively low throughout the year and occurs on very few occasions, although some of these can often result in heavy downpours. Spring and early summer is settled, dry and fine with long spells of bright sunshine, while late summer and autumn weather can be changeable, with alternating dry and wet days that increase the likelihood of higher humidity. Winters are extremely sunny, benefiting from lovely warm temperatures that make Orlando such a popular destination during low season.

Often described as having a near tropical climate, Orlando weather is more temperate than the more southerly regions of Florida and hence rarely ever suffers from the possibility of tropical storms which can sometimes affect the far south of the eastern seaboard. It does however see some of the wet weather generated by this activity and between July and October brief but heavy rainfall accompanied by thunder may occur. Precipitation is still relatively low and bright sunshine should characterise most days with up to 8 hours of sun. Expect to see temperatures of 28c in June.

Orlando Weather - An outstanding winter climate
The major selling point of a holiday in Orlando is the almost perfect winter climate that enjoys a great deal of sunshine with only marginally lower temperatures than in summer. Consistent warm sunshine and cloud free skies are the norm from November to February with rainfall infrequent and usually brief. Traditional wintry conditions such as snow or frost are virtually unheard of.  A very creditable 7 hours of bright sunshine should be enjoyed at temperatures of between 20 - 25c. In fact ideal weather for the kind of fun activities and sports that Orlando is so famous for.
