Our review of Olu Deniz...
The beach at Olu Deniz ("Dead Sea") graces many a brochure cover, and its' combination of stunning white sand, shimmering turquoise waters and scenic mountain backdrop is a sun-worshippers' paradise. A natural nature reserve (guests must pay a small fee to visit), the beach with its famous Blue Lagoon is ideal for both relaxing sunbathing and water sports, and its calm shallow waters attract many families with children. Olu Deniz holidays offer convenient tourist amenities such as loungers, umbrellas, beachfront cafes and bars, and the resort is ideally placed for many interesting day trips. With strict building restrictions in place, most visitors to Olu Deniz will find themselves staying in the inland villages of Hisaronu and Ovacik, just a few kilometres away and a 10 minute ride on the local bus (dolmus). With the lively village area offering all manner of dining and entertainment, Olu Deniz is an ideal resort for families, couples and groups looking for a taste of Turkey with plenty of amenities.

Our customer reviews of Olu Deniz...

"I had a great time in Olu Deniz, I booked a late deal and picked up a bargain for £500 for both myself and partner july/august 07. We didnt need very much spending money, lots of things to do and see. our hotel was manzara, was basic enough staff didnt understand very well but we managed!! had no complaints so didnt mind. "We went this year with some friends and stayed in Hisaronu. It's not just a lovely beach resort, the place had a real buzz to it - some great bars up there, and restaurants serving excellent food. Met some fantastic people and did trips to the ruins, a boat trip and the market at Fethiye, plus all that chilling on the beach - I’d definitely go back again!"

"The Turkish people are quite the friendliest people around! Nothing is too much trouble and the food is incredible - do try all the local dishes. I'd recommend the boat trips around Olu Deniz, and trying the mud baths at Dalyan- a real experience."
