Nerja Weather – A superb Mediterranean climate
Nerja is located on the Eastern side of the Costa del Sol, basking in Spain's Mediterranean coast within the sunny Andalucian region. The Costa del Sol or ‘Sun Coast’ as it is appropriately named, experiences an average 330 days of sunshine each year. Tourists on a holiday to Nerja, will find themselves in a unique location, between the warm ocean and the towering mountains that help to create an attractive micro-climate which is generally sunnier and more clement than many of the surrounding areas.

Weather in Nerja – Clear blue skies and wonderful views

Surrounded by the Sierra Almijara mountain range, visitors will find that they provide not only spectacular views but also offer shelter to the town throughout the year, generally receiving much less rainfall and warmer winter temperatures than the rest of Andalusia.
