Negril holidays Holidays in Negril are popular with younger visitors to Jamaica and all those looking to relax in a resort with a less developed feel than Montego Bay or Ocho Rios. Negril holidays are based in a care-free low-rise resort running alongside superb beaches on the western tip of Jamaica, 50 miles west of Montego Bay and the airport. Holidays in Negril were a firm hippy favourite in the 1970’s and the resort still retains a certain country charm and laid-back “alternative” atmosphere. Nowadays Negril holidays appeal to a wide range of visitors with accommodation including excellent quiet family hotels and upmarket all-inclusive tourist villages.
