Beaches
Naples is home to a range of fantastic Gulf Coast beaches, from developed areas attracting many crowds to more natural parks and preserves backed by mangrove swamps. Popular beaches in Naples include the Municipal Park at Naples Pier, Lowdermilk Park and Vandermilt Beach, and the quieter Barefoot Beach Preserve Park and Delnor Wiggins Pass.
 
Fishing 
Fishing is a major activity in Naples, with visitors able to catch snapper, grouper, shark, tarpon and barracuda, and enjoy a host of charter trips. Choose from sport fishing, deep sea excursions and backwater fishing trips along the Everglades.
 
Golf
Home to over 40 courses, the Naples area is a haven for golfers, with the idyllic setting and wonderful climate making it a perfect choice for a leisurely round in the South Florida sun, any month of the year.
 
Boat Trips
There are plenty of boat trips to go on in Naples, with excursions to Marco Island and Fort Myers, special manatee-spotting tours, dinner cruises and private sailboat charters available from Naples.  
 
Wildlife
The natural surroundings are ideal for wildlife viewing, with everything from birdlife such as kites, heron and osprey, to turtles and alligators evident at the many state parks and local sanctuaries. Wilderness or wetlands tours are available to spot racoons, otters, bison, black panther and bald-eagles.
 
Sports & Leisure
Water sports such as jet-skiing, kayaking and canoeing can be enjoyed by visitors at the beaches, with facilities for go-carting, mini-golf, tennis and volleyball also available.
 
Day Trips
As well as the popular Zoo and the city's Botanical Gardens, Naples has a Museum of Art, a Philharmonic Centre for the Arts and numerous art galleries. Head east for a day trip to the famous Everglades, or travel south to the Florida Keys on the Key West Express cruiser.
