Beaches
The main attraction on the island are the varied beaches along the coastline - the perfect place for sun-worshipping. Offering many diverse stretches, from gay beaches boasting a party atmosphere, nudist areas, and Blue Flag awarded beaches, to family- friendly sheltered bays and peaceful stretches for quiet sunbathing, there are beaches to suit everyones' taste on Mykonos.

Water sports
For those looking for more active pursuits, Mykonos offers a host of water sports. Many resorts offer pedalos, banana boats, tubes and jet-skis, with water skiing, canoeing, parascending and paragliding available on the island. Known for its strong winds, Mykonos is also the ideal spot for both windsurfing and kitesurfing. 

Scuba-diving
Mykonos is well-known as one of the best places in the Aegean to dive, and is home to some established dive schools and centres. With warm temperature and excellent visibility, the waters around Mykonos offer a host of marine life to be found amongst the many reefs and rocks, with numerous wrecks filled with antiquities to discover.
