Moraitika Weather – Relaxed atmosphere with a hot climate

With its beautiful beaches, relaxed atmosphere and hot weather, Moraitika will be ideal for those looking for a tranquil sun holiday location. The climate here is a blend of long hot summer days, warm spring and autumn months and short mild winters. Temperatures will hit 30C and over during the peak summer season months, and for hot weather lovers this will be the perfect time to visit. Rainfall is rare during the summer and tends to appear in the form of short-lived thunderstorms during the winter and early spring months.

Weather In Moraitika – High temperatures perfect for the beach

Summers in Moraitika stretch from May through October and temperatures will not usually dip below 23C during this period. June, July and August can see temperatures heading past 30C, and temperatures of 40C are not uncommon. The beaches at Moraitika, Messonghi and nearby Benitses will be busy with holiday makers relaxing in the sunshine and enjoying the numerous water sports. The sea waters are a warm 26C during the summer, which is ideal for swimming and snorkelling. Temperatures are high during the summer but coastal breezes will mean that it is never unbearable.

Weather In Moraitika – Beautiful spring and autumn months

The autumn months will see the temperature in Moraitika receding slightly to just under 25C. There may be a chance of showers during the autumn but these should not disturb an October holiday too much. The winter months will also bring some showers but there will still be plenty of sunny days. Easter holidays will see temperatures rising again to 20C and over. The countryside is particularly pretty during the spring and autumn months and the 20C temperatures are perfect for cycling, walking and exploring this beautiful area.
