Moraira Weather

The weather conditions in Moraira are delightful, much warmer than the UK all year round even in the depths of winter. There’s loads of lovely sunshine to be had whatever the time of year. The summer weather in Moraira features low rainfall. During the peak summer months you’ll get between one and three days on which some rain might fall, but the monthly rainfall totals are low. In June you’ll experience about 21mm rain spread over 3 days or so. In July there’s an average of 9mm rain which falls over one day. August sees 2 days of rain on average, with only about 20mm falling in total. Not bad! Whatever time of year you go on holidays in Moraira you’ll find the weather brighter, warmer and drier than the UK.  

 

The winter weather in Moraira is just lovely. Head in the direction of the Costa Blanca for average temperatures of 16C between December and March, and a gorgeous 19C in November. At night it seldom falls below 6C although there’s a small risk of a light frost early in the mornings during December, January, February and March. Winter temperatures in Moraira are good at night too, averaging 6-7C at worst and rising to 20C in summer. Beach holidays in Moraira are at their best between July and September, when sea temperatures peak at about 27C and you get 10-11 hours of sun every day. Perfect.
