Monte Gordo Weather

Imagine a place where you’ll get an average of five hours of sunshine a day even in the depths of December and you’ve found the weather conditions in Monte Gordo. In the summer holiday season you’ll find that almost half the day is sunny, eleven hours a day on average in June and August, a massive twelve in July. And it’s hot too. Average sunshine in Monte Gordo is high all year round with eight hours a day in April and ten in May, nine in September and eight in October. Nice!  

The weather in Monte Gordo starts to heat up properly, and get humid, in June with a slight chance of humidity. July to September tend to be humid but not enormously so, just moderate. Three to three and a half inches a month spread over 14 – 15 days. So it tends to rain every other day or so, just a bit! Monte Gordo sea temperatures are at their best in August and September, when it hits 22C. Winter temperatures in Monte Gordo are mild, averaging 16C to 19C from November to January.
