Cheap flights airline Monarch has was voted ‘Best Scheduled European Airline’ by the travel trade at this year’s British Travel Awards. The ceremony was held on Thursday 15th November at Battersea Evolution in London and saw the airline finish ahead of rivals British Airways, Lufthansa and Air France to win the prize.

Monarch Airlines, which operates both charter and low cost scheduled services is one of the UK’s largest leisure airlines, flying to around 100 destinations across Europe, America, Africa and Asia from the UK’s principal and regional airports, whilst offering cheap flights to Spain, Gibraltar, Portugal and Cyprus from Birmingham, London Gatwick, Luton and Manchester airports.
