Mljet holidays – Beautiful, lush, green island with hidden coves

The southern point of the holiday island of Mljet has lovely beaches and it is possible to hire bikes or canoes to explore this area, the resort of Saplunara is regarded to have one of the most beautiful sandy beaches in Croatia. There is also Blace Bay which has a beach that is almost 1 km long and popular with naturists.
Holidays to Mljet – A romantic holiday destination
Mljet Island is full of interest and beauty, there are wonderful, ancient villages set into the hillside and overlooking the picturesque lakes and busy little fishing villages along the coast supplying fresh fish to the local restaurants. Balbino Polje is the largest village on the holiday resort of Mljet and Odysseus’s cave is located below the village. There is one hotel on the island of Mljet at Pomena, from here it is possible to hire cars, scooters or bikes to get around the island, and there is also a limited bus service. It is also possible to visit the nearby island of Korcula, another destination of beautiful beaches and historical sights.
