November is an unfashionable month for travel but combines good weather with minimum crowds. December is the driest month in Miami, with little notable increase in rainfall until May.

Many residents and Miami aficionados would say the best time for a Miami holiday is in the spring, when temperatures and humidity remain comfortable for sunbathing, swimming and relaxed sightseeing, and there are a fraction of the visitors. Average sunshine figures for Miami confirm that March, April and May are the sunniest months. March usually sees perfect weather for the Miami Carnival and the Calle Ocho Festival. Miami temperatures are in the mid 20ºs from March to May.
