Meeru Island Resort Things To Do
Beach
Meeru Island Resort is the sole resort on Meerufenfushi Island in the North Male Atoll, accessible by speedboat from the airport. Visitors are treated to idyllic beaches lined with white sands and a tropical blue lagoon which surrounds the resort and are typical of a holiday in the Maldives.
Diving
The large Pro Dive Centre offers an extensive range of courses, from beginners PADI lessons to dive master levels, as well as specialist instruction, such as soundless diving for photographers. Divers have access to 50 sites in the North Male Atoll from the resort.
Water Sports
Water sports available include windsurfing, sailing and kayaking, with snorkelling trips also on offer for non-divers keen to explore the ocean.
Boat Trips
Glass-bottomed boat trips allow guests to enjoy the beauty of the lagoon, and there are morning and night-time fishing trips, as well as deep-sea fishing excursions.

Facilities at Meeru Island Resort for guests include swimming pool, children’s pool, tennis courts, badminton courts, football pitch, beach volleyball, fitness centre, golf driving range, a pitch and putt course, billiards, table tennis and bike rental.

The resort has two spa centres, one uniquely positioned over the water, offering a range of beauty treatments, including facials, massages, manicures and pedicures.

The resort has an internet cafe, lending library, gift shop, jewellery shop, museum, mosque and greenhouse.

Plenty to choose from in the resorts' five restaurants and six bars - including extensive buffets, cuisine featuring Asian and international cuisine and a unique restaurant yacht moored in the lagoon.

There are many island-hopping trips offered from the resort, as well as snorkelling excursions, 'Robinson Crusoe' day trips, seaplane flights, submarine rides and trips to Male.
