"I went to Meedhupparu in April 2009 and thought it was amazing. We had perfect weather every day. There had been a bit of rain the week previous, but this was a perfect time to go. We did wait 3 hours for the seaplane but it was soon forgotten when we arrived. Our room was number 273 which was in a perfect position. Right on the pure white, soft sandy beach with clear, calm seas.

 

I saw some rooms overlooking the "wall" which is there for the protection of the island due to the sea rising, and would recommend you didn’t have a room in that position as ours was so much better. The food was buffet style and had everything you could possibly want and it was all delicious and well cooked.

The people are so friendly and helpful. I saw dolphins, went snorkelling (which was amazing) fed turtles and swam in the warm water. You can walk out a few metres and see so many gorgeous, brightly coloured fish. Keep an open mind to the wall and this holiday will be amazing for you."
