Rain is very short lived on the island and tends only to occur during the months of November through to April. Temperatures at night can still be warm at around 15C during the winter and 20C during the summer months.

June, July and August are the hottest months, with the sun beating down for around ten hours per day. Temperatures during these months will average around 26C but many days will see the temperature heading up over the 30C mark. Weather in Maspalomas during the months of May, September and October are still hot with eight hours of sunshine per day, with the temperature rarely dipping below 25C.

The weather in Maspalomas is ideal for a winter sunshine break. The temperatures from December to February never dip below the 20C mark, and you can still lie on the beach and pick up golden tan with the sun shining down for around six hours per day. The warm autumn and winter months are the perfect time for golf enthusiasts to play on the many courses in the area. March and April will see the island’s temperature heading up to around 24C, making the weather in Maspalomas ideal for a family Easter holiday.
