The colourful and vibrant city of Marrakech, which sits between the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara Desert, offers a fascinating destination for those keen on soaking up the traditional flavours of Moroccan culture. With highlights including evening strolls past the snake-chamers and acrobats in the ever-bustling Djemaa el Fna main square, haggling with tradesmen over silks and spices in the markets and bazaars, and stepping back in time whilst touring the ancient tombs and palaces, the city is a delight to discover. Boasting a wealth of historical sights and sense of rich tradition, together with a modern cosmopolitan vibe, Marrakech is an ideal getaway for those looking for a truly different experience.
