The summer water temperature in Marbella reaches a high of 24C, creating excellent conditions for swimming and water sports, with the sun shining for 11 hours a day from June to August.

The weather in Marbella remains mild throughout the winter months, with the resort seeing the coldest days in January, when the temperature only drops to 12C. The winters tend to be relatively dry, with the resort receiving less than 50 days of rainfall throughout the entire year. Most of the rain in Marbella falls during the winter, with the months of November and February being the wettest.
