Our review of Marbella...
The chic resort of Marbella has long been a favourite with the rich and famous and continues to maintain its stylish and quality reputation, attracting many holiday-makers every year. From the impressive yachts moored in the glamorous marina of Puerto Banus, to the luxurious houses dotted amongst the Spanish hillsides, Marbella offers a taste of the high life, with upscale shopping, gourmet dining, and fantastic people-watching in the many open-air bars and cafes. As well as gorgeous weather and a choice of golden sandy beaches, the resort offers many activities and local attractions, including a charming and historic old town to explore.

"Although expensive, Marbella is highly recommended. The old town - Orange Square - is really pretty and very quaint and there are some wonderful bars and restaurants in town. Try to get to see the mountains, and some of the towns and villages in the area, authentically Spanish with great markets (if you like shopping) - we did day trips to Ronda and Nerja - very nice."
