Manchester Airport is directly accessible by car from J5 off the M56. When travelling to Manchester Airport by car, the Airport roads will display colour-coded signs, which indicate the best route to each terminal and its car parks.

There are trains from Manchester Airport direct to and from Sheffield, York, Leeds, Huddersfield, Manchester, Bolton, Preston and Blackpool throughout the night.
