Into this paradise a little rain does fall and the wet season does stretch from May to September. However, rainfall is not continual, often short lived, and will not dampen the temperatures. Holiday makers who favour high temperatures should consider October to March in Majorda; there is less chance of rain at this time of the year and temperature will be around the 32C mark.

October to March is considered the peak season in Majordo but in reality the lack of temperature variation means there is really no off season in Majorda. Majorda Beach and nearby beaches such as Betalbatim, Colva, and Velsao are popular with holiday makers throughout the year. Sunshine levels are high and November through April will see Majorda benefiting from nine hours of sunshine per day.

 

There are certain times of the year when the climate in Majorda will be ideal such as December to March when the humidity is low, rainfall is rare, and the temperature hovers around the 32C level. The weather in Majorda at this time of the year is perfect for a long festive holiday in Goa sunshine. April, May, and November can see the temperature in Majorda easily heading over 33C and there will also be a chance of showers at this time of the year. Some holiday makers may find the humidity levels a little high during these months but fresh breezes will blow in from the Arabian Sea to make the heat more manageable.
