London Luton Airport - Driving Directions
From the M25, exit at junction 21 for access to the M1. From the M1, exit at junction 10 and follow signs to the airport. From the east and A1, drivers should take the A505 dual carriageway; the airport is situated just off the A505 and is signposted. From the west, arriving via the M40 and then the M25, drivers should join the M1 and exit at junction 10.

In autumn 1999 a new railway station, London Luton Airport Parkway, opened near Luton Airport. The journey from London Kings Cross takes around 30 minutes and there are up to 11 trains every hour. A free shuttle bus takes passengers the short journey to the airport terminal. Bus services connect London Luton airport with the surrounding areas. Major roadworks will take place at London Luton Airport starting on 5 February 2007. Access into the airport from the M1 will be severely restricted. Additional roadworks are ongoing to widen the M1 and are planned to continue until autumn 2008. The following junctions are affected: Junctions 6A-7 southbound; Junctions 8-9 northbound and southbound; Junctions 9-10 southbound.
Passengers are advised to expect significant disruption on the airport's approach roads for the duration and are advised to plan for at least an additional 45 minutes travel time
