Lluca sits on the northern tip of the Costa Blanca, in the resort of Javea, just an hour from Alicante. The area is mainly residential and known for its holiday homes and villas, and enjoys a close proximity to the stunning coastline and beach resorts such as Moraira, Altea and Denia. Boasting plenty of sunshine, the region sees typically-Mediterranean weather and a year-round healthy climate.

Spring weather in Lluca sees warm dry conditions, with average temperatures in March and April a pleasant 18C - 20C, and rising to 23C in May. The area sees an abundance of sunshine, even this early in the season, with about 7 - 8 hours each day, and limited rainfall in the spring, an average of 35mm decreasing to 9mm - 20mm in the height of the summer. The temperature rises to 26C in June, and reaches 29C - 30C in July and August, with the sun shining for 11 hours each day during this time, and the sea temperature reaching 26C in August. Despite the high temperatures, the humidity level remains moderate, with coastal breezes helping to keep conditions comfortable.

Winters remain warm and relatively dry in Lluca, with temperatures dropping to 16C during the coolest period from December to February. October sees the wettest weather, with 80mm of rain; however it will still be sunny during the winter on a holiday in Lluca, seeing at least 5 hours of sunshine each day.
